Photography should be fun, and that’s the whole point of my approach to breathtaking photography. I don’t see photoshoots as a job or a checklist; instead, I treat them like an experience. Whether it’s kids being kids, families laughing and moving around, or models playing with creative ideas, the goal is to enjoy the moment first and let the fun photoshoots unfold naturally.

I love collaborating and experimenting. Bring your ideas, your energy, your curiosity. We’ll play with lighting, props, powder paint, water—whatever fits the vibe. My shoots are loose, creative, and pressure-free, especially for kids who don’t want to sit still or smile on command.

I primarily shoot in the greater Wichita area and am open to traveling throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. All sessions are complimentary, and on the rare occasion a concept requires special materials (like powder paint or smoke), I may ask to share the cost.

A relaxed, fun experience awaits you with breathtaking photography. This isn’t a stiff or formal photoshoot; it’s laid-back, playful, and built around enjoying the moment.

Kids can be kids here! Running, laughing, exploring, and getting messy—it’s all welcome. No forced smiles or 'stand still and pose' expectations during these fun photoshoots.

Our approach is very loose and collaborative. Have an idea? Bring it! Want to try something spontaneous? Let’s do it. Creativity is always encouraged in our Wichita photography sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need experience to do a shoot?

Not at all. No modeling experience needed—for kids or adults. Just show up ready to have fun.

How long does a session usually last?

Sessions are flexible and low-pressure. Most last about 2-3 hours, depending on the energy and the idea. Some can last the entire day. A couple of been multiple-day shoots. It's entirely up to everybody's schedule and energy.

What should we wear?

Whatever feels comfortable and fits the vibe you want. I’m happy to give suggestions if you’re unsure.

Are sessions really free?

Yes. All shoots are free. Occasionally, if a concept requires special materials like powder paint or smoke, I may ask to share the cost and/or bring the material.

Can we bring our own ideas or props?

Absolutely. The more creative, the better. I love collaborating and trying new ideas.

Where do sessions take place?

Indoor shots are my preferred method as there's much easier access to changing outfits, better control of lighting and props, and climate is often easier on everyone. I do shoots at my place, I have done several shoots at the models' home, I have shot in a couple of rented spaces, as well as outdoors. It is always up to the comfort and preference of the model.

How do we get our photos?

Finished photos are shared online (via Flickr) where they’re easy to view, share, and download. If you prefer the photos to not be posted on Flicker then I will make arrangements with you to make sure you can get them.

What if my child won’t sit still or cooperate?

That’s completely okay. Kids don’t need to behave or pose perfectly. Movement, play, and personality are encouraged.
